What is Ironcore Linear Motors​?

An Ironcore Linear Motor is a type of direct drive Linear Motor that generates linear motion without mechanical transmission components. It uses permanent magnets and iron-backed windings to produce strong, smooth, and precise force output. ITG’s solutions are widely used in applications requiring high force and compact design, such as semiconductor equipment, machine tools, and automation systems.

How Does an Ironcore Linear Motor Work?

These linear drive motors consist of two main parts: the magnet track (stator) and the coil unit (forcer). When current passes through the coils, it interacts with the magnetic field to generate thrust. This direct electromagnetic interaction eliminates the need for belts, screws, or gears — delivering superior response time, high speed, and nearly frictionless motion.
